January, 2009: Lesley and Lee went down to Fort Worth, TX, to perform their ‘Court Intrigue’ opera fusion number at the invitation of Urban Gypsy. Serious study, serious nerves, serious fun.

We were SO intimidated by John Compton and nervous as hell that he’d be watching us perform. Turns out he’s the nicest guy on the planet.
With Ariellah afterwards – friend, mentor, ass-kicker. She almost beat us backstage from the middle of a crowded theater – she either parted the peeps like Moses and the Red Sea or she has mystical powers.
